Chastity

We vow chastity
As a way of loving unreservedly and nonpossessively
For the sake of God's reign.
Conscious of the gift of our womanhood,
Its joy and pain,
We grow with others towards freedom and fullness of life

Poverty

We vow poverty
To follow Jesus in his total dependence on God,
Exercising stewardship in relation to all creation,
Conscious that all that we have and are is gift.
Trusting in God's providence
We choose to live simply
By sharing our lives and resources.

Obedience

We vow obedience
To imitate Jesus in his life
Of profound openness to and acceptance of
The will of God.
In the company of Mary, Mother of Jesus
The model of the discerning and responding heart
We become attuned to the Divine.
We develop the attitude of mind
By which we freely and joyfully respond
To the promptings of the Holy Spirit
In our lives and the lives of others,
Even when this involves personal sacrifice.
