This weatherboard school erected in 1900 was the first single purpose building. Previously classes were held in the church and convent.

This is the back view of the convent with the Infirmary that was added in 1907. Also built freestanding in 1907 were a Juniors’ Refectory, pantry, and dormitory.

In 1911 a new brick Primary School [now the school hall] was built in front of 1900 wooden school. The wooden school continued to serve many pupils for years.

The new school included a stage on which musical and other talents were displayed and continue to be displayed to the present time.

In the early 1900s during the leadership of Mother Mary Aquin Leehy extensions were added to the boarding school.
