Spirituality, relates to the inner spirit or force within a human being that animates us to the sacred – to holy things – to the divine.

It is an innate quality of our being that makes us different from other life forms in our world. Our spirituality grows as we become more aware of the quiet stirrings of the spirit within us.

Women aspiring to religious life have recognised the spiritual dimensions of life and they desire to develop this inner life further through the commitment of religious life. 

The community lifestyle and spiritual practices encouraged by our constitutions invite us to deepen our understanding of our inner reality and to be women of the spiritual life – women of hope.
