What We Do

Tenison  Woods Education Centre

Our
Ministry
The TWEC Ministry is informed by a sound and constantly developing understanding of Adult Faith Formation.  To explore this understanding read Virginia’s article in the Annual Board Report. The values of the Centre emerge both from the gospel and this understanding of faith formation.  All the formation opportunities TWEC offers, begin with a profound respect for the life experience and wisdom of those who choose to ‘come and see’.

Our ministry has many dimensions.

Hospitality is at the heart of the TWEC ministry.  Hospitality is extended to those who wish to come to the Centre and stay awhile.  Hospitality is also an important dimension of our  formation opportunities offered both at the Centre and in local communities.  We seek to invite people into a safe communal space in which their experience, questions and issues are welcomed respectfully and explored with the light of our Catholic tradition.

Formation Opportunities.

The Tenison Woods Education Centre offers a variety of formation opportunities:

Those developed in response to requests from parishes, regions or other groups.
