The 16th General Chapter of the Sisters of St Joseph, Lochinvar concluded on 24November 2023 after electing the Leadership Team for the next four years.
Sr Carmel Hanson was elected as the Congregational Leader with Srs Christine O’Connor, Patricia McCarthy and Lauretta Baker elected as Councillors. They will take up their responsibilities on 6th January, the feast of the Epiphany as is our custom.
In our world beset with war, poverty and the devastating effects of climate change, the Chapter decided it appropriate to retain the current Mission Statement: Sisters of St Joseph, Lochinvar, stand for the Gospel. We choose and cherish life.
