Many Josephite Sisters gathered at Tenison Court, in Lochinvar to greet Bishop Michael Kennedy on 1st December, a stormy afternoon on the first day of summer.  He had planned to meet with us early in the year but unfortunately, circumstances caused that to be changed.
The 16th General Chapter of the Sisters of St Joseph, Lochinvar concluded on 24 November 2023 after electing the Leadership Team for the next four years.
The words 'I have no claims to great deeds; just small ones with love,' appearing on the cover of the Mass booklet, summed up the life of Sr Ann Gallagher whose Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on October 15, 2023 in St Patrick’s Church, Swansea. 
Sr Frances Slack rsj received the papal award known as the Pro Ecclesia et Pontifice - For Church and Pope on 12 October.  The ceremony took place during the celebration of the Eucharist at Tenison Court in Lochinvar.
