The Friday Mass community at St Joseph’s Church in the Newcastle suburb of The Junction invited the Sisters of St Joseph to a Mass on 23rd May to mark 100 years since the laying of the foundation stone of St Joseph’s Convent.

Many people gathered at St Therese’s Church, New Lambton to celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial for Josephite Sister Therese Connolly who had died on 11 May 2026 at Calvary St Martin de Porres Aged Care facility, Waratah.

In recognition of this Laudato Si’ Week (17 – 24 May, 2026) and its theme From Hope to Action, the Josephite Laudato Si’ Action Plan Team presents its final Conversation Package in the five-part URGENT HOPE series.

St Joseph’s College community assembled in MacKillop Hall Lochinvar on the eve of ANZAC Day to commemorate the 111th anniversary of the Gallipoli campaign. Year 9 History students prepared and conducted the moving ceremony.

On 14 April, an early autumn day, many people gathered at St Kevin’s Church, Cardiff, to celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial for Sister Clare McCudden who had died on 1 April 2026.
